MW2 is better on Pc Imagine modern warfare on consoles. Exactly. Nowdays for a pc game to be worse than the console counterpart the Dev must either do it on purpose or be completely incompetent Usually when we say a pc game is a bad port we mean there are features missing that we consider granted in pc gaming[QUOTE="adamosmaki"]MW2 is better on Pc Imagine modern warfare on consoles. Resident Evil 4. But it can be fixed with mods.

Still with mods it's completely arguable which one wins, PC or Wii?
Final Fantasy. Wait...only console gamers play that anyway.kdawg88
This another good option. FFVII had the mods and originally it was the same as console. On the other hand FFVIII was worse than console(it had lower res textures) and AFAIK only has a resolution mod.
Other option may be Splinter Cell: Double Agent. I see a second patch was released more over a year after release, don't know if it fixed the almost random game ending glithces. The first one didn't, and I stopped caring after one of my PC's almost miraculously surpassed the glitches. Finished the game, uninstalled, goodbye.

Double Agent on the PC is a wreck! It's buggy and nigh unplayable.
Saint's Row 2 is probably the only game I can think of.
To be fair, the console versions of the latest Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit actually boasts some features not available on the PC, such as rain pouring down and a more well-done visual effect on the police car lightbars, both of which I can't for the life of me understand why they would leave out of the PC version, if it's intentional.
That said, I'd rather have 1920*1080 (and above), 60 FPS without the above-mentioned treats than 1280x720, said effects and a frame limit capped at 30.
EDIT: Typos.

FF 8 and 7 were terrible on the PC.
pretty much any of Ubisofts recent games are much better on consoles.

DRM can suck it.:P
[QUOTE="Zanoh"][QUOTE="NeedForDog"]Besides modern warfare 2Birdy09
Super Mario
Metroid
Zelda
Donkey Kong
Kid Icarus
Sonic
Goldeneye.
You get the picture XD
I can play all those on my PC with improved graphics LEGALLY so ......*rolls eyes* While one might own the games, using what I think you're using isn't legal.
Besides No matter how much PC gamers try to deny it, unless an emulator was used, none could play the nintendo based franchises on their PC.

How ELSE could you play the games without using what I think you are using. If you didn't have that at your disposal, there is no way you can play it. Thusly it is an illegal method despite if you legally own your games. Not holier than thou, but just saying a certain truth. :)

You can play plenty nintendo based franchise on the PC(games that aren´t even on nintendo consoles),just not actual nintendo games, unless an emulator is used, wich is not that hard. ;)True there are PC Nintendo games like Mario Go Fish and the like. XD
But the console nintendo games I was making a point at.

FF 8 and 7 were terrible on the PC.
But mods fixed 7. The only one left with problems was 8 that only has AFAIK a resolution mod that makes the models look nice but the textures just become highly defined crap.

I never denied anything, im stating that its perfectly possible and I do it, so your technicality that if not done correctly is illegal is somehow a reason to not make the arguement valid? I play Wii games on my PC better than a Wii... its the fact regardless of the methods.Yes but the fact is, you used an emulator, something that is banned forthright in TOS agreements and conventional practice to justify why your PC is "superior". I do not deny a PC's graphical and technical superiority, but without that emulator, it could not play any of the nintendo games. Thusly to resort to a low just to prove superiority is INFERIORITY. :P

The one thing that consoles do have over PC are simplicity. I am not saying that it is difficult to play games on the PC but the average PC gamer say even on this board will have put in more effort to make their PC work as fast as possible then your average console gamer on this board which will have plug and played. If you disagree and want to be petty the simple counter is count how many clicks it takes to start playing a new game on PC vs. on Console...
This is the exact same reason that Mac has such a good niche. They are ultimately easier to use then Windows, they feel more intuitive. They may not be as powerful, or allow for as much control as a Windows based PC usually does but the trade off is simplicity. You can play plenty nintendo based franchise on the PC(games that aren´t even on nintendo consoles),just not actual nintendo games, unless an emulator is used, wich is not that hard. ;)[QUOTE="Arach666"]

There´s actually much more than that, such as revamped SMW versions on the PC,Zeldas and most nintendo franchises at Softendo. And that´s pretty far from being all, even 3d stuff exists. ;)[QUOTE="theuncharted34"]
Resident evil 4.
glez13
That was already mentioned. But what is really better fully modded PC RE4 or RE4 Wii? I can't tell.
RE4 wii. Because it has the Gamecubes graphics, The ps2's extra content, and has wii mote and nunchuck which is the best control setup imo.
plus you can just pop it in and don't have to download silly mods ;)
