God of War 3 will not sell...

Ps3 does not have the same fanbase it had last generation..this game is not even getting no hype only by hardcore gamers and we all know it needs casual support... ..pokemon will sale more you can quote me on this....I would leave this Forum 4ever if God of war 3 outsells pokemon umm by May.

The game is on the top of charts on almost every retailer.. believe me it will sell great this March but not sure about pokemon, guess will see next month

Lol... Pokemon, that thing is a giant in both computer retail and merchandise retail. Why would you compare GOW to it?

So the only way to have good sales is to outsell pokemon?

That franchise is a powerhouse.Someone would have to be the biggest fanboy dumbass to even think that GOW3 could even come close to Pokemon's sales.

You are sorely mistaken if you think God of War is a franchise only a few, "hardcore" gamers are aware of. The thing is a beast, and is destined to sell well and move units.

Of course its not going to sell as well as Pokemon, though. Hardly anything will topple that giant.

I would leave this Forum 4ever if God of war 3 outsells pokemon umm by May.

Nothing beats pokemon in sales.

I think GOW3 will sell pretty well... but it won´t touch the huge sales of other exclusives like Gears, Halo, MGS4, UC2 (well... UC2´s sales are huge for the PS3 xD)

I hope it will debut number one at least in one region like NPD. If it doesn't, then that would be a shame. I think it will sell though.

I LOL'd pretty hard when he said it wouldnt outsell Poke'mon. Pokemon is like one of the highest selling game franchises of all time, and Heart Gold/ Soul Silver have already sold almost 4 Million copies in Japan alone.

Pretty much the safest bet in the world, actually giving GOW3 a lot of credit considering how much Pokemon sells.

I may sound a bit ignorant on this one,but how good are the pokemon sales? Better than Modern Warfare 2? Or New SMB Wii? World of Warcraft? Or even The Sims?Arach666
