Dare I say better looking, the overall presentation is stunning for a portable game, and far more polished than 99% of Wii games.

Peace Walker looks the best at the moment. That being said the first God of war on Psp looked amazing for a 6 year old hand held.Fightingfan
Does the full Peacewalker look better than the demo? I thought the demo was, well...pretty meh. And not remotely as good lookingas something like Syphon Filter.
going off on a slight tangent...
I tell you, if the 3DS manages to push graphics like that in true 3D without glasses then I am going to be very impressed with the machine.

I think Peace Walker looks good but I still think Ghost of Sparta is graphically, both artistically and technically, more impressive. If you are talking about graphics (both art direction and technical aspects), and I assume you are since that is what this thread is about, then get real.Golden Sun DS > GOW GoS.

It's the same quality, but you only get a feel of how good the game actually looks in the full version. Honestly, it blows away Syphon Filter.[QUOTE="Dead-Memories"]If you are talking about graphics (both art direction and technical aspects), and I assume you are since that is what this thread is about, then get real. I see no mention of graphics in the thread title or the post.Golden Sun DS > GOW GoS.

Eh? WTF!
"God of War: Ghost of Sparta looks amazing" "better looking" "overall presentation is stunning for a portable game" "far more polished than 99% of Wii games".
Maybe I underestimated the ability of some people to read the thread title, the contents of the thread, and get that it was about graphics (both art direction and technical aspects) and presentation (still an aspect of the graphics).
Graphics is pretty much all it's about (and general presentation and polish too obviously).
I know because I created the thread.

When you say look amazing, I think of as an overall game.
If you had clearly stated your point, maybe we wouldn't have this mishap. Maybe you should have said better looking visually?
When someone says a game looks good, it's the overall quality of the title. Presentation?hardly anything to do with Graphics. it's the structure of the game and how easily it is to get into etc.

The 3DS already has shown graphics that surpass the ps2 and come close to high quality wii games....but then again the 3DS is a next gen handheld so its kinda supposed to do that.

And if we get games that looks as good as this on a regular basis on the system then I will be impressed. The reason I make that point by the way is because obviously the Wii is more powerful than the likes of PSP or PS2 etc and yet there are really very few games on Wii that actually look better than Ghost of Sparta on the PSP, so I'm just hoping we don't end up in the same situation with 3DS, but fortunately it doesn't look like that is going to be the case. Before i came into this thread i was thinking "Im 95%........no 100% sure there'll be a sneaky comment about the Wii in the OP" and behold, there it was
Anyway, yeah it looks nice if you like that sort of thing. Technically its probably the best but theres a few other PSP games id put higher in terms of being more visually appealing.

The Wii still making you bitter?
Why are people impressed with the 3DS for having slighty better graphics then the PSP almost a decade later? The 3DS should have way better graphics imo. It should only be slightly behind the current gen platforms.going off on a slight tangent...

I see. So, does time travel twice as fast for you? Do you have some sort of screwed up leap year system or something? I'm trying to understand your 'decade' logic here.

Is was a simple exageration to prove a point. No need to take everything so literal, I'm sure you understood what the point was.[QUOTE="Esnedon"][QUOTE="TehNubTuber"] Why are people impressed with the 3DS for having slighty better graphics then the PSP almost a decade later? Compare Metal Gear Acid and MGS: Snake Eater 3D, and you can really see how much it's improved.

Seeing how much juice the PSP still has in it, a PSP 2 may actually not be necessary for a while.
Coolyfett
I have no arguments there!!! The PSP has a lot of juice.
And cookies too.[QUOTE="amaneuvering"]Why are people impressed with the 3DS for having slighty better graphics then the PSP almost a decade later? The 3DS should have way better graphics imo. It should only be slightly behind the current gen platforms.going off on a slight tangent...

Slightly better? Have you even seen the any of the trailer/screens for it?
