God of War III Leaves Monster Hunter Producer Speechless

This week Sony released a video showing the producer of the popular Monster Hunter series,Ryozo Tsujimoto, enjoying a copy of God Of War III.

Even though the video is in Japanese you canclearlytell Mister Tsujimoto was impressed by the game, like many of us are.

According to Andriasang, Mister Tsujimoto had nothing butpraise for the game.

He first praises how the game transitions seamlessly from the title screen into gameplay. Next, he praises the appearance of massive enemies from the start of the game as helping to raise the tension. Midway through, he says that he's concentrating so hard on the game that he can't speak.

GOWIII was a pretty good game, but I'm kinda pissed that I wasted my money buying it. I beat it in two afternoons and haven't gotten it out of the case since four days after purchase, waste of money, this is a rent period.Nuck81

To each their own...Yes I beat the game in about 10 hours but the replay value is there with costumes, CHAOS difficulty etc...but also a bigger point is I want to acutally support their studio so its a worthwhile purchase for me...Plus down the line I can play it anymore, or show it off to friends, or have them play it.

This is a game I had to own.

The game trully epic!.. took me a week to beat and now im back to it again to play it on Titan mode for the plat Trophy :D

Now those moments left me speechless^

Definitely an awesome game. Sadly it was nowhere near the greatness of 2 :( I couldn't take my hands off the controller during 2 and for 3 I would kind of just get tired of the game after 2 hours of playing. It was definitely a God of War game, it just didn't have the soul that GoW2 had

If they could have kept that scale in the beginning of the game throughout the entire game, it would have been perfect.

To all the people saying that GoWII is better than III: Try going back and playing it. I think some elements are better than III but overall it's not the better game. It has some really horrible difficulty spikes, cluttered enemy density and some of the puzzles are downright poorly designed. Overall I think GoWIII is definitely the more polished, well-rounded game. NAPK1NS

It is indeed a great game and is worthy of praise.

I wanted to start in titan mode, and now I am paying the price for it =/

Yeah but the story and voice acting were horrible compared to 1 and 2. Plus I hate the fact that they changed the voice for Athena and Gaia.

I wouldn't call it horrible, but the story was indeed better in 1 and 2, I found nothing wrong with voice acting though.

I also can't seem to understand why do people treat all SP only games (not including RPGs, but games like GoW, and I'm sure many will just rent Alan Wake :cry: ) without any MP as rents...

Just learn his patterns, use the bow of apollo constantly, and quick attack > evade - rinse and repeat.

When he does the chain move stay in the middle wait for an area to clear out and roll there.

Dude theres 2 other boss fight one being a mini boss just as hard. Luckly they are around the end. I was also stuck in hades for a while till I got his movements down packed.

yea the game is awesome

hades, posedion, and cronus are my favorite boss fights i think 1 and 2 had better storyline kinda narrative thing .But gow3 beats it in scale, boss fights , gameplay and of course graphics

Now ..... only if you gave us the Monster Hunter Series then you would make me speechless. cmon capcom!!!

Those Toilets in public restrooms that flush by themselves leave me speechless...

Well I wouldint say horrible just not as fresh thats all. Also the VO was still great in 3. I thought GOW3 was a fitting end to the kratos story.

I still think three is the best game overall and one has the best story, screw the second one!

Story was good enough for me, I would have liked a bit more build up on zeus' though so the fight had more impact, and some more dialogue but NOT that much more, but the crew didn't have time and thats fine.

God of War 3 is awesome, but i beat it in a weekend after which there's just no incentive at all to play it again. It's very short, and i think a number of reviews were blinded by the hype (as always) and failed to take into account that it's really the ultimate rental, not the ultimate game.Ninja-Hippo

Thats why i am going to wait until price get lower before i buy it. I played the first 2 games, it was but no replay there.

Well it varys. I think 10 hours is fine for the game and the challenges help to. Also if want to get everything and play on all the difficultys then yea it can make the game time longer. Like I said it varys person to person.

Sorry cows the word is out, GOW III is an overhyped and over-rated rental at best

It's no surprise that he was impressed by God of War III. The game has a knack for theatrics and scale. I wish I had played on normal mode my first time through because the grind that is Titan mode really bogs down the experience.
