God of War III vs. Bayonetta. Which one do you think is THE KING?

Which one do you think is better?

EDGE said that Bayonetta has slapped Kratos in the face

And IGN give Bayonetta score 9.5 equal to Uncharted 2, which won GOTY 2009 at many sites

So it's clear that Bayonetta one of the best hack and slash game ever made

And my question is will God of War III top Bayonetta as the king of hack and slash game?

Graphic wise, God of War III is 10000000x times better than Bayonetta

Story wise, God of War III is also better (even IGN said Bayonetta story is not as good as Uncharted)

Gameplay wise, which is I dont know, Bayonetta is looking awesome even though I haven't played them because I dont have a 360

But I still think God of War III will be better than Bayonetta just because one thing: God of War series always EPIC!!

What do you guys think?

I'd say GOW3. I played the Bayonetta demo and hated it. Felt too much like DMC to me, another game I dislike.

That's because Bayonetta is inspired by DMC. It's not meant to be a GoW rip-off, but a DMC rip-off.

Played the GoWIII demo, absolutely outstanding. I'll be surprised if anything will be better than that.

God of War III I haven't play it yet but it should be a great game just like the others.

Bayonetta, simply because I prefer the gameplay in Devil May Cry to the gameplay in God Of War.

They are two different types of games in the same genre ------ God of War games were always kind of their own thing ....... while everyone was really arguing over DMC and NG for their hardcore action styles. It would kinda be like comapring Burnout Paradise to Forza 2 if you get my drift.

There's probably this comparable group - (GoW III, Dante's Inferno , Darksiders) ........ and then this group - (Ninja Gaiden II , DMC4 , Bayonetta). Kratos can be king and Bayonetta can be queen and they can rule together.

Other. Rip off or otherwise. Dante's Inferno has a real good chance of being the king of hack and slash.

For all i care, even if GOW3 beats Bayonetta, the game has proven to outshine every single next gen sequal, including Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Devil May Cry 4, and the the "not so next gen" GOW collection. Whether god of war 3 beats it or not doesnt bother me, because the game will either sit 1 or 2 in the best hack n slash games of this generation. GOW has the weakest combat system out of the heavyweights, and for me, im a combat fanatic so i will definately choose Bayonetta over GOW3.

Nothing in the genre beats God Of War 3. The closest thing would be Darksiders and that's probably going to be a lot better than Bayonetta regardless of scores.

Well, as people on SW talk about games such asHalo Reach and Agent as if they have personally played them, this kind of comparison is pretty par for the course.

How do you expect me to judge which is king when neither is out yet?

GoW has the name and mainstream casual acceptance, so it'll win.

I've only played Bayonetta, but nothing about it seemed that special. It was, however, the PS3 version which is apparently quite gimped.

Ninja Gaiden, GOW is not even close to achieving the same amount of perfection NG1 on the original xbox did.

God Of War (Kratos) for sure. Im just not a fan of the japanese style games.
