Good advice for a ps3 fanboy?

One of my best friends ask me whether he should get a ps3 or 360 before school starts? Hes a big sony fanboy too somy first reaction was to get a 360 because i want toplay gears, crackdown, too human, kane & lynch, army of two ect on xbl together.From my knowledge psn n xbl gamerscant mix online.But then I stepped away form the fanboy side and told him to wait for E3, see what games are coming this year, make your purchase and buy the other console other winter break. good advice or not?

Over 145 PS3 games are coming this fall, including Lair, MGS4, Army of two, Heavenly Sword, Ninja Gaiden Sigma(next week), GRAW2, DMC4, GT4, Eye of judgement, White Knight Story, Socom Confrontation, Killzone 2, Haze, Little Big Planet.

I could go on and on, lets not forget HOME!

That's some good advice there, sure is.

Don't listen to all the fanboys that have posted on this thread so far. Events as big as E3 can always turn the tide.

Ignore the fanboys, you gave him good advice. Its better for him to get all the info and make the decision thats best for him. The fanboys don't understand that one system over another might not be a good fit for some people.
