WHAT IS THIS GAME!!! OMG!?

It's so generic looking, and graphics matter so little, that is has a whole 40 percent chance of not sucking, historically.

Gears is great because the game is great, not because of the graphics, they are icing.

Halo 3 is great because its an over rated piece of grabage, but I digress.

Anyway, ooo, pretty graphics. What am I, an animal that gets excited over shinies. You got any info about the game? How bout giving us some good previews of why a game will be great instead of posting screenshots that don't mean anything, and look like PC graphics from 2 years ago, from a game that was utter grabage, except for the fact that it had good graphics, raising its overall score by .5 points out of 10.

Whoa guys settle down. Halo 3 has the worst graphics out of all the major blockbusters to come out in 07. It doesn't even touch resistance 2.

The only thing the game does well is the HDR. Models are terrible,game isn't in HD,textures are last-gen...It's just awful.

Wow those look great. Im not ready to say better than Gears of War YET however. Those are very early screens though, and will improve dramatically before the game ships.

The lighting made it feel almost like GeOW. I can't get enough of it!

Its amazing that cows love sequels to your average around the mil shooter, Resistence and Killzone. The PS3 is never known as a shooter system, so I wouldn't hold my breath. The 360 already perfected the genre. Even without a Gears of War 2 screen, you just have this feeling it will demolish both Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 with one chainsaw stroke. They're using a new engine! And they say the 360 is already maxed out, lol.

No I'm not biased,I paid money for Halo 3 and was disgusted at the graphics. Compare Halo 3 to the likes of:

-Gears of War

-Uncharted

-Mass Effect

-Bioshock

-Call of Duty 4

-Mario Galaxy (lol even this looks better)

Oh and you want rays of light in the jungle? Play Crysis on high.

first off, my $800 can run Crysis on high settings at an average of 35-40 FPS.

second off, Halo 3's lighting is not even comparable to Crysis.

as a matter of fact, even on medium settings Crysis' lighting engine completely destroy's halo 3s'.

Im not getting into a PC component cost match with you, but $700 to run Crysis on high is ridiculous and you know it.

And notice I didn't mention any of the other games, because save Mario Galaxy they are all more or less equal to Halo 3. THe whole 640p thing got blown way out of proportion.

First of all, SMG looks just like Sunshine do don't even try that. Secondly, I don't see why everyone thinks COD4's graphics are so great. The textures are meh and aren't very smooth looking. I must say the lighting is what really makes it shine though (no pun intended).
