Good ideas for Definitive Editions

Anything that isn't a single game. If they're going to do it, the least they can do is offer more than one game in the remaster.

I want a Burnout 3 HD remaster... Well a remake would work too if they stay as close as possible to the original. But yeah I want a real Burnout a game, its been way too long since a good one came out. And Burnout 3 was perfection.

@SolidGame_basic: Any game that has a proper pc version last gen, since that'll be easy to port over to next gen consoles. So RDR is out of the question.

While true we DO need more new games, there are SOME older titles that I actually think benefit the idea of definitive versions (at least compared to what they threw out with the likes of TLoU, TR, and GTA V, which were all too recent).

-Some LEGO games with sequels (Harry Potter and Batman/DC; Star Wars was technically already done with the two film trilogies, but I see them adding that, what was released with the Clone Wars and potentially adding more Clone Wars seasons before the inevitable LEGO Star Wars: Rebels SHOULD they do it).

The only games that need a remaster are the ones that played like shit last gen, Red dead, Dragon's Dogma are good examples.

• Mass Effect Definitive (Shepard) Trilogy - one that includes all DLC this time around not leaving stuff out like before, and maybe on that also allows for a single across the board changes to combat mechanics and leveling that are consistent between all three games. I'd also like the ability to craft a character file for any game so you can jump say into Mass Effect 2 or 3 with certain choice conditions without the need to acomplish them in previous games.
• Dead Space Trilogy + Extraction - The games are already pretty well made, just up the frame rate, resolution, maybe add uncompressed audio for great sound, and bring back the original Dead Space 1 ripper weapon and bring it into Dead Space 2 as the one in Dead Space 2 sucked. Change the text PDAs into video or audio diaries to increase immersion.
• Motorstorm Trilogy Definitive Edition for PS4 - The first two games were great but Apocalypse needs to changing a lot. One thing I feel they need all around is a first person head checking camera that moves in 360 degrees instead of snapping. What Apocalypse does that really annoys me is when attempting to change camera snaps to an external third person camera while in first person which totally throws me off every time I use it, absolutely hate it, other games didn't do this. Anyhow, on top of adding a 360 degree headcheck system I'd also like to see more detailed modeling in cockpit views.
• Persona 3 & 4 Definitive Editions: They could basically port Persona 4: The Golden as is as far as I care with just minor presentation changes. But Persona 3 needs to really be reworked, mainly changing several things like changes to combat system that allow for player control of party in combat, rather than player just controlling lead character and computer controlling other party members, just like in Persona 4. Also, keep the FES content. And extra content added to Persona 3 Portable like female lead character and new social links to the package and that will be the ultimate Persona 3 experience. On top of all that, I think it'd be most important that Atlus and Sega considering porting this to other systems like PC and Xbox 360/One and WiiU as well. I feel continuing to limit these games to single systems is limiting its potential.
• When Mirror's Edge 2 releases I think it should come bundled with the original game to allow next gen console owners who missed out on it last gen a chance to experience it as well as the newest and long delayed entry in the series, hopefully enhanced visually for next gen consoles. This would also give the package more value, and if the next game is every bit as short (but replayable) then throwing this in as well would be great value that's too good to ignore.
• Metroid Prime Trilogy + Other M - Given how Metroid Prime Trilogy had such an unfortunately limited release on the Wii I feel it needs to be brought back again. Keep option for Wii controls but also give it GamePad and Pro Controller functionality. Throw in Other M on top of it while at it, despite how popular it is with many to rip on I sure enjoyed it, and I'm sure they can adjust controls to make it work without a Wiimote. If Nintendo wanted they could simply port the GameCube games ISOs over and allow for GamePad to act like a GC controller, Homebrew community got them working on WIi U like it was nothing, though it involved a convoluted solution of using Wii to scan the GameCube disc and transfering the ISO over to WiiU via SDHC card but once on there the games ran just fine. This to me says that Nintendo is perfectly capable of release a GameCube VC section of the WiiU eShop if they wanted.
• I'd like to see a next gen released Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy, I enjoyed these games it'd be nice to have them all in one package.
• Gears of War Collection would be great, if it included Gears 1 - 3 and Judgement.
• Not that I'd want it, but I'm sure Sony fans would love an Uncharted Trilogy that takes advantage of PS4 hardware plus maybe throw in that Vita game while they're at it.
• I'd of much rather have seen a Red Dead Redemption remake rather than GTA V.
