And if you want to even be able to finish the story at all, or find many of the game's secrets, you need to hook up to the new companion app. Oh you don't have a mobile device? Tough luck.
And on launch day, the game's servers will be broken. And there will be loads of bugs and glitches. And the E3 build we show off will be downgraded. And PC version will be a disaster. And we will launch with $200 of DLC, most cut from the game. And we will call PC gamers pirates. And will blame console specs will our failures.
I skipped this AC, and promised myself I would not buy another one after not enjoying AC4 either. But Victorian London Doe...
Would it be too much to ask for an Arabian, possibly Japanese setting? Imperialist Africa would be real freaking cool too.
Haven't finished Unity yet, but I can blame that on Dragon Age, I'll get back to it eventually.
Victorian London could be a good setting but it most definitely won't be a buy at launch title, once the bugs and glitches have been worked out I'll probably get it. To be honest though I've had very few issues with Unity and none have been game breaking, I think I've had one CTD.
LOL why do people even give a shit about the setting?
You're still spending 90% of your time hopping rooftops and jumping into bales of hay, just like every other Ass Creed game.
It's hilarious how everyone constantly bitches about Ubisoft, then they turn around and buy these shitty games every 5 months.
Day 1. It looks stunning. Seems like the next big step for the AC franchise, and I'm there to support Ubisoft in their effort.

Right there with you brother.
let's wait and see, this AC might surprise us like AC4
AC4 is the worst in the series, imo, other than maybe the games that came out in 2014 that I haven't played.

How is this good news?
More crap from Ubisoft and more half finished AC , while they havent even worked out all the problems with Unity.

why? Because Assassin's Creed is one of the few franchises out there that give you that level of historical simulation. I don't buy Assassin's Creed because of the gameplay, I play it for the historical setting.

Change London to Paris, and that's exactly what we heard last year.
Give the series a rest for once Ubisoft no sooner have you released 2 games your announcing another one.

that's just your opinion, i think AC4 is great game. it was nominated almost everywhere for GOTY
@BattleSpectre: If Victorian London sounds like a fun era to romp around in, check out The Order on PS4.
Oh believe me mate, I am very much looking forward to this game. Pretty much a day 1 buy for me from everything I've seen so far.
@BattleSpectre: if you didn't enjoy black flag I think it's safe to assume the series isn't for you no matter where they go next.
B.uu..but Victorian London doe :(

Try Total War; it's actually a good series.
Far superior to this non game.
