Good to see classic games being remade, what would you like to see remade?

with Chrono Trigger being released on the DS and Bionic Commando and Punchout all redone this is a good thing to see. I would enjoy to see Kid Chameleon and a few others make it to one of my current gen systems.

Final Fantasy 3 (6) not a crappy DS or PSP remake but a real high budjet next gen HD remake.

Ace Combat 2,4,5: Squadron leader, The belkan war.

Yoshis island 1, the "sequel" was awful whit its art style and graphics.

games such as Dragon Ninja, Double Dragon, Altered Beast & Golden Axe 2.... i loved those games back in the 16 bit era :)

I would have to say FF7, The Warriors for next gen consoles and SotC.

Other than that I'm not sure. 

Well now that squaresoft is no more I doubt they would do A) a Parasite eve remake, and B) a Chrono Cross Remake.

The Problem is these games will never get remade before FF7 does(which I hope they do but im not THAT eager for it)

FF7 was the best one, why would they make a bunch of spin offs and other crap but not remake it over one of the less popular ones?

FF9 is arguably the best 3D FF game because it stays true to it's roots and isn't filled with cliches like 7 and 8.

It was my first one, but I know for certain that it was better than every single FF game that came out after it. The truth is, you can only enjoy one JRPG because after the first they tend to be the same thing.

All I can say is I am glad FF7 was my first one, because there wasn't a second. I saw and played 8 and 9, but they just felt like they were trying to live up to something.

FF7 had this atmosphere that I really connected with, even the music was better than in later games.

I was saying that there was a reason why FF7 got all the spin offs and movie adaptations. A very good reason.

We need some beat-em ups pronto.

I agree.  Sonic 4 needs to come out.  Take the Sonic Unleased engine, get rid of all the night time levels and just make old school Sonic.  I'd say forget everything after Sonic 3 though.  Thats the best Sonic game imo.  Sonic & Knuckles felt kinda crummy to me.  Certainly not as bad as any of the 3D games and still a good game, but i've read that originally Sonic 3 was supposed to be one super huge game but they split it into 2 parts with S&Ks was the second part.  After playing them seperately it really feels like they put all the good levels into Sonic 3 and put the throw away ones in S&K.

A new retro ****StarFox would be cool.  For some reason, I think the game would be "cooler" if they took the art ****back to the SNES.  Have high polygon counts, but don't use textures, just colored polygons.  It would look nice, but old school in a good way.  To make up for it they should have crazy particle effects.

It would also be sweet to see Half-Life updated with the Source engine (so that it looks like HL2, not HL: Source). I know a team is already working on it with the Black Mesa game, but is that going to feature all of Half-Life? Doubtful since Valve isn't involved.
