Goodbye PSP! Hello 360!

I just sold my PSP with 14 games and 3 memory sticks for 220$. I am buying a 360 for 275. The PSP in my mind is just NOT a gaming system. Its more of a media center than anything.

The iPod touch will dent PSP sales hugely this xmas, i recon...The one big benefit of the PSP is movies and a widescreen display; something the iPod matches and beats with ease of use, style etc etcmartinbarker007

PSP is for gaming on the go or when you're young you may not be allowed a tv in your room to play a console on late into the night. Have fun lugging around a 360 and staring at it on a bus....they compete in two different markets, similar in complimentary product offering, but different market segments. I dunno, I just always like having a home console and a handheld for trips.

Good on you!... The PSP is not a very good "handheld" system for many reasons IMO Iv seen more people using them as accessories rather than playing them.

See this is where your ego over exceeds you... I have played both and Im saying that IMO mario kart is really the ONLY game I enjoyed on these generations of handhelds.

The best PSP games Iv played wher Wipe out pure and Daxter but at the end of the day Mario Kart stole my heart and is far more pick up and play freindly which HANDHELDS should have in their librarys of games.

I guess if you really like having to wait 1-2 minutes to turn on a handheld and have some crazy load times and stupidly glarey screen then by all mean enjoy your PSP along with its non freindly first time user games where the learning curves are similar to consoles.

FACT: people use hand helds to kill time and want accesable games that why the DS is selling.

No casual or gamer IMO wants to play PS2 ports with rubbish controls or play Final Fantasy on HANDHELD FFS.

Dunno whats worser, the fact you had a PSP during the time were games were less or more interessting, and now you sell it at the point where some HUGE games are comming out.

Not really... its a very dry Handheld console IMO ther need to be accessable games in order to be considered "handheld" games.

lmao defective? The psp i sold had 3 dead pixels. And twelve of my games i did get them for free. Why would i pay for ps2 ports? The 360 actually not only has NEW games but also good games. The only game i played was Syphon Filter before I got bored of it. If i want to play socom i will play my brothers PS3.
