There is no answer to that question. You could ask for peoples opinions, but everyones opinions are different. If you want MGS4 over Wii games then yes you made the right choice. If you still want to play SSBB or soemthing then no you made a wrong choice.

Why bother selling a Wii? If you regret it later its going to be a big hassle to find one again.

You are gonna be really lost if you haven't played the other games in the MGS series. MGS4 is very much fan-service.

I enjoy playing Wii as much as I do playing other systems....that's why I have a very good Pc and planning to buy a PS3 after a while.
