Gotta Catch em all fans, Which is the best series?

There are a number of series that use the same formula but who does it best? I decided to put Ni no kuni in the poll, deal with it.

For me, I'd say

1. Pokemon, its just classic to me and I am finally excited to see 3D pokemon in a handheld that actually move, the only thing this series lacks is what SMT does so well...
2. SMT, DEMON FUSION!
3. Ni no kuni (from what I've played/seen) I think this game has a depth to it that will make it not only memorable but down right legendary.
4. DQM, The games are fun but always feel a small step behind
5. FFXIII-2, nice effort, I guess

But hey, thats just me, let me know what you guys think.

Pokemon scratches the "catch all the x" itch better, but the SMT series provides the better games by far.

Because the different titles are across multiple different genres. There are plenty of other topics that deviate much more from SW than this one, sorry there isn't a fanboy flame war going on over it.

Yea Silver was pretty awesome and of course the original RED... the next generations kinda sucked. I think they just runned out of nice Pokemon designs and names.
So yea the best generations were 1 and 2. After that I kinda lost interest in the series... wouldn't mind to true the new Y & Z though, just to see what's all about

why is it that everyone under ~ level 15 acts like an idiot? Is there a rule like the must be level ten to post threads rule?

There isn't a rule, but you are so right we should totally start one. Once I level up enough and get ur approval, you and me can work on a rule that will stop people who are roughly, idk lets say, around level 15. Now I think, and this is just an awesome idea like yours, that anybody under level 55 can't respond to comments of people who are higher than 55 and vice versa. Ya see, it all makes sense like your idea.

While we're on the topic of pokemon. I think the series clearly maxed out after they had pokemon representations of Space/Time/Antimatter and basically the pokemon equivalent of god. Silenthps

Pokemon

Pokemon is the only game out of those that I've played. I started FFXIII-2 and only made it about an hour and a half in.
