Brutal Legend is being made by Tim Schafer who created:

The Secret of Monkey Island.

The Day of the Tentacle.

Full Throttle.

Grim Fandango (GOTY)

and Psychonauts.

All of his games were AA-AAA, and the diologe is the funnest stuff ever to be seen in a video game to date!

I'm sure he's not entirly serious. From what i've seen of him, he's a pretty level headed guy and probably knwos that there is no way that we can assure a game will be 100% amazing.. it's just that this game is being made by the same guy behind two absurdly brilliant and unique games. It really is something to be excited for. Plus, it';s more fun this way!

IF gta4 gets game of the year, then to many casuals delute the ratings. Its not the best. And NG2 haaa its cool but not goty worthy.
