Yeah if it's as good as its predesessors then I think RE5 definitely has a great chance.

Not Killzone 2... since it won't be released until 2010, and it still won't get GOTY.

Why don't you think it will come out in 09? As for its GOTY status...I'm still on the edge considering the first one was pretty mediocre but this one is looking very good so far.

Probably won't. Though, this is the only game I can think of that's coming out in 2009 that I'm really excited for, besides God of War III. I don't even know if/when that's being released.

...I'm probably missing more, but I'm not saying all of these games are GOTY potential (LA Noire, WKC for instance), but you made yourself look like a fool saying no game on the PS3 has an opportunity in 09.

not to sound mean but that sounds shockingly similar to what people thought the ps3's lineup for 2008 would be. They really have to come out in 09 now, but I'm just putting that out (why does sony announce games when they basically just start the project?)

I have a feeling final fantay 13 is going to be something special, god of war 3 has a shot, you never no nintendo could make another amazing game like mario galaxy.

seriously, capcom has been so damn stingy with the details. we've only seen the basics, which as one would figure, sticks close to re4's winning formula

to me it seems that since re4 came out, a hell of a lot of people have begun calling themselves resident evil fans even though 4 was the only one they played...and then they just read the wiki articles on all the others. i hate fake re fans :evil:

and on a seperate note, i never get into a series without playing the games in order. i cant stand it

the only exception being when the sequels have nothing in common with what came before (ie, final fantasy)

If Halo Chronicles makes a 2009 release date, or is released at all. There has been no information about it at all recently. Forza 3, alright, I'll give you that. Mass Effect 2 is being released on both PC and 360, by the way. :wink:
