now tat 2011 is pretty much over and there no more notable releases goty awards should be upon us soon. so idlike to kno wat is everyones top 10 candidates for goty. mine are in no order

Skyrim

dark souls

Batman arkham city

The witcher 2

Gears of war 3

Uncharted 3

Portal 2

To the Moon

Little big planet 2

deus ex human revolution

imo i think the award will go to dark souls or skyrim

Rage should win GOTY.

Its between The Witcher 2,Shogun 2,Deus Ex HR,Yakuza 4 and Portal 2 as far as I´m concerned.

Batman AC, Witcher 2 and Rage are my 3 favorite games this year. :)

There were plenty of awesome games this year, but in the end imo its between Dark Souls, Skyrim, Zelda and Witcher 2...

That game is just absolutely fantastic

Dark Souls is my personal GOTY. I can see it winning or getting close to winning too.

If Skyward Sword is even nominated... lol. Wait, does Xenoblade count? That should go up there.

The only title on that list that I even liked was TW2 (I haven't played gears 3 yet though).

Portal 2 is probably the only 2011 game i'd recommend for GOTY.

My two are by some distance Deus Ex and Skyrim. Cannot think of any deserving to be anywhere close to these two.

Best Graphics, Technical - BF3

Best Graphics, Artistic - Alice: Madness Returns

Best Sound - tie between Dead Space 2 and BF3

Best Competitive MP - BF3

Best Co-op MP - Dead Island

Best Story - None that I've played were too impressive but I guess either Alice or InFamous 2

Best Atmosphere tie- Alice: Madness Returns, Dead Space 2, Dark Souls
