Bioshock 2, Street Fighter IV, Splinter Cell: Conviction, MW2, Halo ODST, Killzone 2 and inFamous will be nominated, I'm sure.

Uncharted 2. Unless it flops like transformers 2 (movie) well the game was an obvious flop any-who..infamous or killzone may have a shot too. Bioshock won in 07 but who knows if bioshock 2 will bring anything really original this time

the conduit.......you suggested the conduit........really well maybe a game with horrible and monotonous gameplay will an award ment for the best and most innovative game of the year when the game looks like an arcade game rip off

Those are pretty fair guesses. Usually they'd throw a sports game in there so I wouldn't be surprised to see NHL 10 nominated as well.

I would give it to E:TW if it gets patched up, GS will give it to GoW3.

For Gamespot, probably Assassins Creed 2.

Any sports game including racing
Modern Warfare 2
MAG
Any fighting game
Ninja Gaiden sigma 2
Starcraft 2
Splinter Cell, Max Payne 3, Just Cause 2.

Everyone assumes Uncharted 2 like it's set in stone. Talk about premature. That's what we like to call Arrogant.

Anyway, there's numerous games to consider. Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2, Bioshock 2, Spliter Cell Conviction, New Super Mario Bros., MAG, Killzone 2, inFamous, etc etc.

thats a little more respectable then the guy who an expansion game up for possible nomination (halo odst).stylesPS3

That expansion offers more content than a lot of games.

There's nothing not"respectable" on believing it could be nominated, especially if we consider every Bungie-made Halo game has been nominated before.

probably wont happen but I hope for borderlands I just love that game all the guns that are unique the vehicles co-op free roam and rpg elements just make me feel fuzzy inside and that art style is just icing on the cake

my hope is that borderlands will have a little surprise that will blow away everyone but still thats just hoping and no matter what(as long as the game doesnt suck:P)it will be game of the year in my book

Uncharted 2. I can see scribblenauts having gameplay similar to drawn to life, which was pretty average or so I've heard.
