GOW coming to PSP

So I was at the GOW II launch party in SF on Monday night and a developer from SCEA announced that GOW would be on the PSP. He didn't go into too much details on it but it is confirmed. I don't have/want and PSP but I thought I'd share the news over here. BTW GOW II is awsome

PSP button layout is lame, the analog "stick" isn't easy to control.
Wii games are. Face it.

Question: what type of a game is this to be? I'm too lazy to do the research myself at the moment; is it a port of GOW (1) or a new game entirely?
