GOW belongs to God of War, since it was out first. Geow or Gears for Gears of War. God of War is the better series, too.aaronmullan

Boy, I've had this discussion about a bajillion million times in mutliple forums here, Xbox.com, Game Informer, Game Trailers.

I think the first appearance of GeoW was in EARLY 2006 at Epic's Forums or Xbox.com for me when the game was announced.

As far as which series I like better, they are both GREAT.

GOD OF WAR's story is way more entertaining that GeoW, but GeoW's Online I've enjoyed a lot. I will say it's a close race, but God of War wins at the end of the day for me.

Seriously though, haven't played GoW, so by defult it's Gears for me.

gears of war is very cool and it have nice graphics but its a normal game its a 3rd person shooter nothing new not forgetting that its graphics are amaaazing but god of war is full of action and u never get bored from it u will say that gears of war graphics are much better than god of war. no its only better in god of war 1 and 2 but 3 graphics are cooooool watch that video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4k6IZjiabpk

I own both consoles (and a Wii for that matter) so I get both. If I had to chose only one I'd go with God of War but Gears of War is certainly an amazing game as well and I'd be missing out on some great gaming.

GoW!!! The sad part is I only playd the PSP version of it and couldnt put it down! I cant wait for SONY To re-release in High def!!! Im gona be soooo all over that.

I bought Gears on the release day and didnt like it...the graphics are what got me to buy a 360 and a 40" Bravia HDTV...but the story was VERY subpar.

Its a tie for me.. enjoyed all GOW titles (incl the PSP game) and i think its story is better than Geow, however Geow is pure shootingaction & i love its mp..
