Bayonetta looks like garbage. "See, her outfit is made of magical hair, and every enemy you kill makes her get more and more naked!" Great game design there.
Bayonetta looks good but come on we all can't based games off good looks *cough* Bullet witch *cough* Sticking To GOW3 just because we all know what we are getting into....its Also about time Co-op is in a Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, I think that had me sold.
I'm in the middle of Ninja Gaiden Sigma right now, and I am very underwhelmed. It's very easy, and the only thing that really stands out is the combat. I don't even know if I want to finish it! I say God of War III by a longshot. If I wanted to see some naked whore strip while fighting enemies, I would, uh... play Bayonetta. I guess it's an original idea. I mean, you get to play as a chick... that's naked.
Bayonetta... DMC was awesome, though DMC3 I found to be the best in the series, so seeing an "original" title from the creator excites me more, even if it seems to be a little on the perverse side.
When it comes to hack n' slashers I like mine in Dynasty Warriors form. But if I had to choose from them, I'll go with Bayonetta. I've already played Ninja Gaiden 2 and although some of the features included with Sigma 2 really tempt me, I doubt I'll end up buying it. I have never played a GoW game, although I would like to get around to finally doing so, and I just Bayonetta looks better between the two.
this is TRUELY a hard choice for me. i want every game up on that list. i HONESTLY dont know and i can count how many times thats happened to me on these boards on one hand. nice set of choices there TC. i cant decide...
A game like Streets of Rage is a beat em up ..... those listed are hack n slash.
i game like baulders gate and sacred 2 is hack and slash. these are simple action/adventure...or just action i guess. hell i dunno, but i know its not hack and slash!!
Bayonetta. Hideki Kamiya has proven himself time and time again (Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil Zero, Viewtiful Joe and Okami). Team Ninja lost Itagaki and SCEASM doesn't have Jaffe.

can i get a big don't really care for all 3 of them? Bayonetta looks like Devil May Cry with Sarah Palin(way to go Kamiya, you better have something special going for this game) God of War 3 should be a great god of war game, but i have never been a fan of the combat. AND I HATE KRATOS(seriousaly, he sucks as a main character) Ninja Gaiden 2 is a little too cheap and just isn't as good as Ninja Gaiden 1. That and I allready own NG 2, so i don't really want NGS2 :P.

You actually make a perfect point. Hideki is the master behind Devil May Cry (IMO) the best game of all time! I should be excited for Bayonetta, but from what I've seen of it.. it looks not as good as GOWIII.

SCEASM didn't need Jaffe for GoW II. They won't need him for GoW III.

If Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 wasnt a "PG" version of the great Ninja Gaiden2, then i would vote for that. But with no Sigma 2 is looking, i gotta go with GOW3 by a long shot.
