How did it not kill it ? It's all subjective just like Forza 3 and GT5 comparisons will be. A score isn't the end all be all.I understand what you are saying, but lets be realistic here
KZ2 wont win any GOTY's, MP GOTY's, wotn sell more than Halo 3, didnt score higher than Halo 3, isnt played more than Halo 3, etc etc.
Killzone 2 already won a GOTY from a popular European gaming magazine , but that is neither here nor there. Those things are just supportive arguments (which are all based on subjectivety). Even facual evidence like amount of salesand number of people playing are just consumer choices with many variables. The entire industry is based on subjectivity. More people played that 50 cent game than Okami as the old story goes.Think of Forza and GT like last years MGS4 and GTA IV debate. Metacritic gives GTA IV the clear edge , sales go to GTA IV , GTA IV got more GOTY awards ...... but is it really the better game ?When GT5 gets released (despite any score given) , it will be compared to Forza 3.When most people say GT5 will be better , they are talking about aspects of the game .... they really don't say it will be better because Gamespot wlll give it a 10.0.
