Gran Turismo Restaurant. (Not a Joke)

Polyphony Digital is moving into the restaurant business with the launch of the Gran Turismo Café at Twin Ring Motegi race circuit in Japan. Opening just last week, the "exterior, interior, and even the staff uniforms have been decorated in the image of Gran Turismo, and there are additional items added to the already popular menu lineup as well." We don't have any pictures of the actual place yet (if you've got some, please let us know!), aside from the provided logo and sketch. The press release also mentions three GT5 Prologue "play booths", but you can't help but wonder if these copies have an HD version of Motegi thrown in… It's a little odd, but it's cool to have the first permanent, public location branded around Gran Turismo. Begin your pilgramige now.

But Honestly, this sounds pretty cool. The way I imagine it is as an upscale type of place to eat. Not 5 Star exclusive upscale, but at the same time not McDonalds low scale. A place where food is expensive but not so expensive that you can never eat there.

It's different. We probably won't see one of these restaurants in the U.S. Microsoft should open a Forza restaurant with a F1 style co-kart stadium right next to it.

That's cool...yea really can't chop the brand manager for doing things different to move the franchise forward.....But the rest should be put down like old yeller for what they are doing (or not doing) to move the brand forward....

Just a thought guys, but maybe the people who are designing this returant are not the same ones making the game. I mean really, I would think a company can do two different things.
These "HAR HAR FOCUS ON GAME FIRST!!1111!!!" comments are a bit silly.

All the same sounds like a really cool idea, if there was one near me I would probably eat there a lot. :P
