Gran Turismo Sport Trailer | PS5 4K HDR 60fps

The cars look great, but the environments are really meh. A shit ton of 2D trees in the background, obvious LOD and shadow pop-ins and outs (especially for the crowds) and everything just looks flat in general (take a better look at the gravel in the rally demonstration - it just a paved road with a different texture slapped on it).

Trees in GT Sports is 3D. Also I disagree with your take on the game. Environments and lighting in GT Sport is superb especially playing it on OLED.

This cannot be as Nintendo only makes Kart racers, so we need to compare each companies flagship racers, that's fair. comparing third party to first party is not far as Nintendo didn't make Gear Club.

It's a last gen game with higher resolution. It looked good before, looks better now. Yeah, the environments are a bit bad at times. But PD have done the right prioritizing with the cars and lighting. It'll be interesting to see what they do in GT7.

You are confusing this with GT7. This is just a 2017 PS4 game on PS5, that's why it looks bad, even for a PS4 game.

120fps mode where pd. This for me sits in a nice place right now. The smart move would be to drop the og gt series and focus on this. A seaqual to this on ps5 would be great. If not I hope the core of GT7 has this sport focused mode. It has carved a neat place for its self while fun boys are still fighting the old wars lol.

car models look great, but honestly I don't see much of a difference between this and forza horizons 4. FH4 is a bit arcadey, and I haven't even tried forza 7 yet, the real sim racer but that also looks great. GT has its work cut out to catch up to Forza.

Gran Turismo is a game for car enthusiasts. Premium entertainment at it’s finest. Forza is an arcade game catered to babies.
