Sounds great to me since by that time, I'll be ready to give Halo 4 a breather and move on to the next Block Buster, Barn Busting, Locked & Loaded game. :P

UPDATE: The Brighton branch of GAME has also published a similar picture of Grand Theft Auto 5 artwork on Twitter, again showing a spring 2013 release date.

The promotional material shows off a new set of artwork for the game, including a female cop arresting a blonde woman, and a gun-toting man on a quad bike.

ORIGINAL STORY: Grand Theft Auto 5 will launch during the spring of next year, leaked promotional artwork suggests.

PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 logos are clearly visible in the store adverts - but there's no mention of other platforms such as PC or Wii U.

The artwork (posted online by GTA-Five.pl via NeoGAF) gives the first indication of when Rockstar's upcoming epic will launch.

It includes a recently-released piece of artwork showing a gun-toting duo dressed as pest exterminators (a nod to the game's first trailer), as well as an unseen illustration of a thug with a baseball bat and an angry-looking dog on a chain.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is, somewhat unsurprisingly, rated with a PEGI 18 stamp.

The posters suggest the game will soon be available to pre-order.

Rockstar has stated it will reveal more about the game in the coming weeks. Progress on the open-world adventure has been kept largely under-wraps since its reveal late last year.

it'll be on my 2013 list along with aliens and Bioshock. really hope it goes back to San Andreas ethos of letting me have a hangar full of airplanes in the desert and crazy stuff. GTA IV was too serious and it got boring for me. make it fun again.sts106mat

Yep, Bioshock and GTA V are on my 2013 most wanted list as well. Not Aliens, that's a gamble IMO

Seems true. Rockstar has only released that artwork with the guys in gasmasks. The others must be real too because their drawing style is the exact same.

I think Rockstar knows this would be leaked. Why else did they not put an NDA on this ?

I'm curious as to what art piece they will use in the final product.

As for what system.....the system that you enjoy the most will be the one it's best played on.

But damn, it hurts to be a PS3 gamer. GTA5, TLOU, GOWA, Beyond.....seriously my wallet will break.

I'm actually a little surprised it's not confirmed for the Wii-U as well -- that would've definitely been a nice boost for its core gamer status.

Honestly, I was kinda hoping they would wait -- but like watevs! It's GTAV! And my hype level is totally on the rise right now. Too late for any backpedaling(they better not -_-). :P

Was to be expected: they did the same with GTA IV and LA Noire...

Rockstar said they showed more love for the PC version of Max Payne 3 because the series started as a PC game, they seem to forget GTA did too -_-

-The Online for this game increasing for CONSOLES (Dunno about Xbox but PS3 can definitely run 32-64 players) , 16 players for GTA IV was too small for a city of that size.

-A HUGE MAP.. well thats gonna come anyway, legend has it that in the game it will take atleast 15 minutes in real life to get from the Main City to like.. the wilderness or desert areas. Thats awesome.

-Realism (Especially DRIVING) and much more

Possible Reality : Like AC3, a game thats good but way ahead of technology (Way too many glitches on AC3 - a sign that the generation has reached its limit)

Feels good to be a console gamer.

I was actually hoping they'd wait and make GTAV a launch title for next-gen consoels. Same thing with BF4. Instead of making it for 6 and 7 year old hardware.. That way it would be superior.
