I didn't even realise people pre order games like Mario Kart.II-FBIsniper-II

I have. Its jsut as important as GTA4 to me.

GTA is just like Madden.

Below all the bells and whistles its the same game.

When you preorder Mario Kart Wii you get a FREE steering wheel. When you preorder GTA 4 early you get nothing. You see why people are rushing to preorder Mario Kart.

Don't worry GTA will get plenty of sales and when april hits the preorders will be pushed more.

GTA and MK Wii are both games that NO MATTER what will sell well.

Im pretty confident GTAIV will outsell MK Wii because its multiplat.

GTA is just like Madden.

I think you hit the nail on the head. I don't think it has anything to do with losing interest, or that gamestop in particular, but rather, that people want free stuff. I'm pretty sure GTA will dominate 2008 as far as sales go, regardless of how many preorders it has now.

what's wrong with mario kart.?.. i want both

MK Wii is looking like a Madden sequal. They really arent adding anything new and they are ven taking features out. If GTAIV is anything like San Andreas or Vice City then it will most likely be like a Madden sequal as well.

Still both games will be fun but they do share that sense of lack of change.
