I think that particular Skyrim ENB has way too much contrast, but to each his own.
Here's some screens.
Skryim.
Games such as GTA4, Crysis 1, Half Life 2, and Half Life 1 (via the Black Mesa remake) have also been rocketed years forward in graphics by mods. Just youtube that shit, and have your mind blown.
Skyrim is the most obvious example. I find it hilarious that the Skyrim 2K modder not only produced textures that blew away Bethesda's own High Res texture pack, but he did it all within the span of a few months.Â

It really is. It's absolutely insane how good that mod looks. Hefty though. If I remember correctly, the final install folder for Cinematic Mod, for HL2+Ep1&2, is like 50gb. Also, if anyone who hasn't yet is going to try it, I cannot possibly stress enough: Don't use the new character models, or the music. They're optional, and for damn good reason. The character models may be HD, but they're not just upgraded skins of the originals, they're complete redesigns, and they look stupid as shit. As for the music.. they replace the original, unique, delightfully atmospheric and electronic music with generic action/drama movie orchestra stuff. It doesn't fit the tone of the game at all, and I'm like 90% sure that they actually just stole the soundtrack from some movie, but I never could quite put my finger on which one.
Also, the new weapon models are cool, but they change the way the guns handle, not just the looks. The weapons are almost all more accurate and powerful than the vanilla versions, which is nice for the player, but the enemies also have them, and they're fvckin deadly with them. Using the Cinematic Mod weapons (which are also optional) increases the difficulty of the game considerably. Just a heads up.
Morrowind Graphical Overhaul comes to mind. I believe some Deus Ex mods make it look a lot better than vanilla does. System Shock 2 as well. GTA4 deserves a mention but I still think it's ugly. With Skyrim it's no where near a complete overhaul (especially with how badly people abuse saturation, DoF, bloom, motion blur, ect.) Crysis is close but again not a complete overhaul, and Dark Souls is also close but only because of the stupid resolution lock on vanilla.
DSFix for Dark Souls
Skyrim
Crysis
GTA IVÂ

Exactly the list I was going to post. Especially DSFix for Dark Souls and iCEnhancer for GTA IV
How the f*** did everyone forget Black Mesa?
Modded remake.:P

Because it's not simple tweaking of the base files to make it better, it's a complete remake and overhaul
