Graphical comparison: Gears vs. Uncharted

Neither beats the **** out of the other...

Uncharted excels in some areas, Gears in others. But they're certainly comparable.

Totally different environmental settings makes for a hard comparison; bright jungle versus dark crumbling war zone. Right now Ill say gears, but its early anduncharted already has a whole heap of character animations.Jibil

I have to disagree, there's nothing beautiful about GeoW. Pun intended. I guess it just comes down to taste, but i prefer Uncharted's lush jungle and waterfalls, etc. I'm also loving the animations and it looks like it's gonna be a very good action adventure/platformer game.

it's kind of strange comparing them. gears is a gritty, dark game while uncharted is colorful and vibrant.

personally, i think uncharted is more visually appealing, but it would seem gears is much more detailed and technically better.

Wait.....is that video supposed to have framerate issues.....or is it not because of the game but rather the quality of the video?

Hard to tell, it seems to me like it was the games frame rate but i could be wrong...hence why i ask.

gears really didn't look all that anyway. towards the latter levels everything was ******* one color. either it was Crap Brown or Muted Gray.

seriously, I can understand if you said certain aspects of the game were rough around the edges.

But if you think the entire game looks like ****, then according to your standards, 95% of current and upcoming titles are unplayable.
