graphical mods can make STALKER look better than everything (except for crysis)

notice how high res all the textures are...this game doesnt use Bloom or HDR to artificially make things look better...this is the real deal.

As for mods that make Stalker look pretty, sky, Float 32, and this are all pretty good.

As good as that looks, I sort of like S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s old fashioned, scuffy graphical look. It gives the game an interesting look/feel.MetroidPrimePwn

Im glad the game lacks HDR to be honest...HDR is overused today.

Yea STALKER is an awesome looking game, some of the best lighting and textures around. I took this pic of stalker awhile ago that i thought it looked cool and realistic.

I played Stalker mostly maxed out at launch on my 7800gs. My computer is pretty low end and it handled the game just fine. I must try it out with the latest patch to see these performance increases for myself. But I never really had any performance trouble anyway, in case you were wondering

Meh,something about the trees in this game really gets me. They look so eery and chilling,I guess the whole atmosphere is that way but look at the trees in the last pic. They look pretty damn real to me.
