Graphics matter and Halo3 proves it....

It does for me anyway. Let me explain.

I own a Wii, 360, and Quad Core CPU. I love the Wii and think Metroid 3 is simply fantastic. I have been thinking that graphics dont matter as much and the Wii was proving my case. Halo 3 proved otherwise for me. Halo 3 is the first Halo game Ive played and last night I got to a level where you have to fight some Giant walking tank. Incredible. The graphics gave the sense (to me at least) that I was envolved in something truly epic at that point. I went to bed thinking about how amazing that battle was and how it was so immersive bacuse of how it looked and how you had to take it down. And during this there is a war all around you. Incredible.

.... actually, it's the othet way around,graphics dont matter and halo 3 proves nintendo's philosophy. halo 3 is not even hd, still its a good game with great visualshan_186

The game has great graphics because of great hardware, HD only improves the quality of the image, the graphics are the same

Obviously you haven't played SotC.

Halo has great visuals because of its atmosphere. If every level was in uber-HD Crysis godliness but looked like the Library, I certainly wouldn't care.

If graphics didn't matter we'd be on here discussing whether Clue or Monopoly was better (Clue ftw). Why settle for one? Give me both great graphics and great gameplay.

Actually, if halo 3 wouldn't have been in HD I would still have been stunned by what I saw. HD doesn't matter as much as people think. Design matters.

Meh, let him complain. Since fanboys can't run around screaming "OMG! TEH FLOP!!!11!" in regards to Halo 3's score, they have to find something to ***** about.
