the game is really unique dude. more unique than anything the 3ds has lolI never understood why people cared about this game so much more than other games.

Until some decent RPGs come out, Gravity Rush is pretty much the only reason to buy a Vita. The game looks amazing.
Tikeio
Lords of Apocalypse
Ragnarok Odyssey
Tales of Innocence R
Disgaea 3 Return
Dungeon Hunter Alliance
Of course, 3 of them have to be imported (I'm getting Lords of Apocalypse) :x
the game is really unique dude. more unique than anything the 3ds has lol Really? This game looks awesome, but are you looking to be flamed?[QUOTE="SW__Troll"]

I'm excited but June is so far away. I was thinking of importing until I saw the price lol f*ck that I'll just wait.

Name one new ip on 3ds? My sig says I Am Sheep King. I've never made any bones about the fact that I love Nintendo. Oh, also, I really like Gravity Daze, and am getting the Vita just to play it. As for new IPs on the 3DS? Just one? I'll name plenty: Pushmo Sakura Samurai Heroes of Ruin Beyond the Labyrinth Now my question to you is... what makes Gravity Rush/Daze so unique?[QUOTE="charizard1605"][QUOTE="bloomberg23"]the game is really unique dude. more unique than anything the 3ds has lol

All those other ones look bad.
All you really needed to say was Pushmo. All those other ones look bad. Heroes of Ruin actually looks pretty neat, and BTL got some good reviews, if I remember correctly. Also, there's Rhythm Thief, which apparently is incredible.[QUOTE="charizard1605"]My sig says I Am Sheep King. I've never made any bones about the fact that I love Nintendo. It was suppose to come out in February. :(
[QUOTE="SW__Troll"]Vita's library is pretty barren outside of good ports of awesome games.I never understood why people cared about this game so much more than other games.

That's not a very good reason to think a game looks good as I'm sure most everyone with a Vita also owns a different system that has games to play on it.
Actually, no it won't. Nintendo rejected the game because ESRB would have rated it AO. AO games are banned on ALL consoles and handhelds, including Sony's. Only the PC gets AO games. And I see you dodged my question again. What makes Gravity Daze unique?vita willhave binding of isaac aswell. the game nintendo was afraid of letting on the eshop

AO, so just because the game talks about the bible and has fetuses and other religious elements in it you think that is worthy of an AO.
Killing fetuses, copious amounts of blood and excretory matter, suggestive undertones of incest, and controversial religious matter... That isn't AO? Btw, the creator pretty much confirmed that the reason Nintendo rejected the game was because of the ESRB requirement on his Twitter feed. Also, you didn't answer my question. I guess we can safely conclude that while Gravity Rush looks incredible, there is NOTHING unique about it. At this point, I would ask you to stop being a fanboy, or at least such a biased one, but something tells me that's a lost cause.AO, so just because the game talks about the bible and has fetuses and other religious elements in it you think that is worthy of an AO.

It's a unique game with cool visuals that has a neat gameplay mechanic, but I wouldn't say it's more unique than anything on the 3DS.
Something new and fresh over the usual Uncharted/Resistance games most of us have grown tired of. Also the only thing that looks close to a JRPG. Not to mention it looks great.I never understood why people cared about this game so much more than other games.

I'm surprised Charizard.. you're asking others what makes Gravity Rush so unique...
you can easily check out some gameplay vids and see how many other titles offer the same gameplay mechanics..i couldnt find other titles with the same concept..
Although it borrows elements from other genres, the way they are implemented along some new ideas makes it stand out from the rest, that imo makes it 'unique'
The question is rhetorical- I have followed this game for a few weeks now (ever since minh brought it to my attention), and I quite like it, and understand its mechanics. However, it seems like holistically, it plays like any other action adventure game, although it does have the unique gravity mechanic. Again, my statement was in opposition to his absurd assertion that the game is more unique than everything on the 3DS, which, as you know, is a flat out false assertion.I'm surprised Charizard.. you're asking others what makes Gravity Rush so unique...
