Gravity Rush remaster rated on PS4

A remastered version of Gravity Rush is coming to PlayStation 4, if a recent listing on the Korean Game Rating Board is any indication.

The title is specifically dubbed Gravity Rush Remaster, and has 12+ age rating. The only platform mentioned in the listing is PlayStation 4, which could very well indicate where fans will be able to play the long-awaited sequel. You can read the full listing here.

We know a Gravity Rush 2 is currently in development at SCE Studios Japan, as Sony first teased the game at Tokyo Game Show 2013. Whether or not the title will come to PlayStation Vita, PS4, or both remains a mystery at this point, but the fact that a remastered version is allegedly coming to PS4 adds weight to a potential console release.

That would be awesome news. I think the game would look great on PS4. Hopefully it finds a huge following. Your thoughts, Sony owners?

Anyway, the game is cool. I liked it.

Only played the first half hour thus far which is no great base to judge a game, but I liked what I played so far... A rarity in gaming in the sense that it's a focused vita exclusive.

Gotta do something with all those Vita games no one played.

hope they do more than raise the resolution and increase the frame rate and I might bite for $40

I'm glad to hear that they'll be making it accessible to more gamers this way, but I won't be checking it out. Really didn't like the hours I played of that.

Wasn't this announced before? I was under the impression it had been.

Fantastic little game on the Vita, though not sure how they'll translate it to a console. I felt the smaller screen was a big part of the experience.

Will definitely pick up. The original was awesome, really atmospheric game.

Was neat game on the Vita, combat could do with some work but it was manic lol.

Eh it was an alright game, though i feel the transition to ps4 will completely ruin it.

Looks like Gravity Rush has come full circle back to home consoles. It started off originally as a PS3 game.

I'm not really surprised that Sony is porting over their Vita games to PS4 because they did the exact same thing with the PSP and PS2/PS3. I'm actually more surprised that they haven't tried to port over Uncharted yet.

Gravity Rush is a good game more people need to play so this is good

Vita is officially dead. GR2 will be PS4 game.

And besides, GR1 had the novelty factor, but as a functioning game, it is quite lacking even compared to PS4 games.

It was an awful game, so I don't care. Good for the fans, I guess?

Story was lacking but overall loved it. and got the Plat because it was so fun.

it was like Assasins Creed 1 where they are just starting and getting ideas together then AC2 happend so hopefully GR2 does the same.

What's sad is that people keep buying them so i cant really blame the publishers for pushing the same games on us. It makes financia l sense...which is typically their bottom line.

I hope it's more than a simple remaster and they work on making the combat more fun.

I thought the game was pretty good, even if it felt really unfinished. I remember thinking I could stream it on the PS3 for a bit, and was shocked when I found out that wasn't possible. It seems like this game would work well on a console.

I think if they made a major update to the game, it would make a good port. But I also think they should include the sequel that they're working on in the PS4 port. Make it like a Gravity Rush 1 & 2 sort of deal.

It had some redeeming elements, but I was very lukewarm to the game on Vita. Some of the gameplay elements were a little undercooked.

One less reason to buy a Vita.

Hype?? The WiiU never got off the ground despite launching a year earlier than the other two after the longest console generation ever while every website carried at least one article about how iPads were going to replace the console.. We must be from different planets. Generation 8 was originally rumored to be a tablet wannabe versus a voice activated cable box and a total pipedream because of the rumor one analyst spread about one of the big three not coming back for another gen.

I just don't get some people. The time to be hyped for Gen 8 was when the WiiU was actually not a wagglefest after the runaway train that Wii was. Instead, in retrospect, people really just were waiting to see what the PS4 and XBox were actually going to be about. Publishers were pretty freaked about Gen 8 being a revival of the mid 80s as far as consoles were concerned. Now that they are cranking out remasters, the super-entitled gamer wants to cry foul.

That isn't happening on any platform really. With the intensifying economic crisis, no company will take many risks.

yah im buying a ps4 for bloodborne not this remaster crap

only one on my radar is the dark souls 2 since i didnt play it ps4 is gonna be like fromsoftware console and maybe some multiplats or somethin xb1 is for halo and exclusives pc for just pc games
