Great current gen games with sub-par graphics

For me when I think of this topic, I think of games like Bayonetta 2 where the gameplay is phenomenal, but the graphics are just ok. I recently started Tokyo Mirage Sessions and this game seems pretty cool too, but yea, the graphic. What do you think, SW? What other games fit into this category? I mean from this gen only where graphics seems to be a huge focus. We'd like to think we don't care about graphics, but just about every selling point is about graphics, performance, etc.

Thats crazy, Bayonetta 2 looks better then most PS4 and Xbox One games. Atlus specializes in low budget graphics, its why they use them dark colors so much to try and hide it.

That new Star Ocean game looks worst then Wii U games.

Bayonetta 2 was awesome 2 but it looked borderline ps3/360 good. The only game on ps4 I've seen that looks as close as it is Godzilla.

Fallout 4

Not really. Mario Kart 8 looks fucking incredible.

Overwatch looks like a 360 game,its wicked fun but could look better. Fallout 4 ,some ppl think it's great I sure didn't it was ugly and boring af to me.

The Talos Principle. Has good art direction. But it just has some oddly mapped textures, low polygon models and its engine seems to have a rather dated lighting model.

But to its credit, the PS4 version runs at 60 FPS. Not that 60 FPS matters to PS4 owners, since it seems like none of you ps4 fuckers played it. :/

I guess Wolfenstein: The New Order firstly and foremostly. Besides, I guess I can name one other not game, which is not that great but it's a very enjoyable one nonetheless - Dead Rising 3.

Wii U exclusives

I guess Shadow Warrior looks abit dated.

Minecraft looks kinda crappy. I blame it being multiplat with the Xbone as the reason.
