I have to agree with Peter Molyneux on the fact that this just isn't an RPG.

Indeed it is not, but that in no way means it will not be a fun game. At least for me anyway. As I said, I enjoy my deep role playing games, but I am not such an elitist that I refuse to appreciate a game that is simply striving to be fun. In essence, it does not have to be a some obscure, complex RPG in order to be an enjoyable game. That is just me, though. To each their own.
You just made it sound like some sort of lite RPG, when it's not an RPG.
Anyways towards the video, the combat doesn't look interesting and that's a deal breaker for action games to me.
All I said was that it is more open than Fable II... and it is. I then went on to say that it was watered down RPG-wise, as it is more so than ever. Customization, moral choices and exploration is about as close to being an RPG as it gets, and yes, I am aware that Peter even acknowledged that he wanted to go more in the action-adventure direction. I don't care, I just want to play a fun game here.
As for the combat, it is indeed streamlined and simple, but again, it will not take any of the enjoyment out of the game for me. I simply think it will be fun exploring the atmospheric world, becoming king and experiencing the game from a good and evil point of view. It will be a 'just plain fun' sort of game and I am personally looking forward to it. Sometimes just being fun is enough, but of course what is considered fun is subjective. Sorry it does not do it for you.
