Denivo does have history of impacting performance on PC and I hope devs that uses it takes more effort in the QC of their games.

In any case, anti-cheat is good when it works and sometimes, it sucks for modding, which shouldn't be an issue for single player games but it is for some games.

Nah, online cheating isn't going anywhere. As developers close one exploit, the hackers will simply find another. It's an endless game of Whack-a-Mole.

Anti cheat... about damn time. At this point in time cheating online at higher levels is completely out of hand. You won't see much of it in pick up games, but if you play ranked online you will start running into cheaters about halfway up the ranks and it only gets worse and worse the higher you get.

You will never stop them all, but the more difficult they make it the better. It's kind of like a fly strip.. it won't catch them all, but it thins the numbers.

@pelvist: Well we all know PC is well known for 2 things, cheaters & pirates, so its a fair call to say if you were beaten by someone on PC a cheater because there's a fair chance they are one.

@uninspiredcup: I remember playing the MP on Kane & Lynch on the 360, and i killed this guy and he sent me a voice message calling me a cheater because i was lag switching, funny thing is, even to this day i have no idea what lag switching is and don't care to know.

Do people actually read headlines or nowdays spam nonsense bullshit? How on earth is this gonna stop hackers when it's on the host system(aka ps4 /ps5) ? It's to Stop Ur console from modding or changing any exe files or attempting to add a trainer or cheat software. If anything it's loss of performance for the ps4 or ps5 not pc.

If we experience hits on PC, you damn well know consoles are going to feel it even more given their inferior hardware.

As with all DRM mechanisms, this does little to nothing to help the issue it is intended to address, and inconveniences the legitimate consumer.

Yeah, but is thinning the numbers worth the cost? Should note that fly strips are not allowed in restaurants and public buildings, are unsightly, unhygienic, and is toxic to humans and pests. Sounds like DRM, alright.

You should be wanting to keep Xbots out of cross play instead. Let them go back to having empty lobbies and nobody to play with. That's why they begged and petitioned for cross play so bad.

PC and PS5 players should unite against them.

Man... I couldn't care less about all that.. If I'm playing an online game I'm going to be online either way. Hell, I'm always online when I'm playing games anyways.

Cut down those cheaters and give them something to think about... I don't care how unsightly it is. Hang them from the rafters and watch those scum bags squirm... lol

The same goes with anti cheat for any platform, I am all for it. I'd rather jump through a few extra hoops to ensure a fair game then deal with all the cheaters.

Don't people need to hack the console's firmware first before they can start cheating?

I'm genuinely curious as to what cheats Denuvo would stop on consoles asides from disgruntled players hoping that a game's leaderboards are relying on unencrypted text files.

Don't both CS:GO and PUBG have anti-cheat? I think even Rockstar does too. How's that working out for them? If people want to cheat on the PS5 as well, they'll find a way past that anti-cheat as well.

Whatever Chinese trojan Valoran is using, is what PS should use. Nobody hacks in that game.
