Can someone post a video of the xbsex doing the same thing?

The Xbox One could do PiP at launch, you could say stream YouTube vids in case you wanted to say use a walk-through guide while playing: or just to say watch a movie while playing: they removed it though later. I think they wanted to distance themselves from that over-glorified cable box criticism it kept getting. See no reason they can't just do it again. Definitely capable of it though. So I guess if it's cool now, maybe they'll bring it back.

Multitasking requires having games so of course XSX can't multitask.

the original xbox one did it which launched in 2013. Seemed like a cool feature at the time, but in usage I never used it and nobody really did so it died down. Typical of sony to implement something MS did 8 years ago but now it's cool because sony did it lol.

Copying a feature MS did ages a go and pretending it's cool. Wouldn't expect anything different from Sony.

I guess XB1 playing games at 540p to 720P , the console had enough resources for PIP.

How does this work with cross play? How is this fair if other systems don't have this as well? I guess PC has mouse and keyboard, so maybe this helps to bridge the current disparity?

I guess the tech is neat, but personally it looks too much to keep track of while playing a game.

Sony has a weird definition of "multitasking".

Switch and Xbox are behind. PC Can probably do this with a program but I'd have to check.

In case you'd think it's just a picture.

@zerothehero: Just run a video in picture-in-picture. Then drag the video onto the game. The game needs to have borderless window tho, but modern games usually have them.

Also apparently, Xbox already has this on PC lol.

Yeah this works - I usually have something set up on my other monitor if I want anyway. By the way, I advise against running PC games in borderless windowed mode, despite how seamless it makes everything else. It adds input delay to games and some games will lose frames if you have a 4k monitor vs fullscreen 4k mode.

PC can't do this natively in fullscreen and has to use borderless windows has work arounds. AWESOME. Thanks. PC from another dimension still can't compete with ps5 on some things its just how it is and xbox went back in time and removed it. This thing is getting worse all the time. Doubt I'd ever care to have my teammates view popped up. But if I did, could just open Discord on the 2nd monitor and have a grid of streams from my entire team lol.

@StrongDeadlift: who cares about quick resume. No one plays games like that. This seems more useful after watching the video. It's rare anyone plays games like that anyway.
