I dont understand this obsession with chat considering that in 90% of the games chat is pointless. Sure in Rainbow Six its useful, but for Grid? Really? I hate when people start talking about what they had for lunch or they start singing the pokemon theme song over the mic. There are very few games were you actually need to chat, and in any other game, I just turn off my mic because people get obnoxious, real fast. Anyways, I dunno if people chat in GRID, and I personally dunno why it matters...what do you want to discuss with a complete stranger in the middle of a race?II_Seraphim_IIIts called being sociable? Provided you dont get a complete deuce on the other end, talking to someone about things other than the game youre playing is fine. Its how you meet people and build up your friends list? thats how it goes for me...

I don't know I just think the game has more meaning when i am racing against real people and can hear them and hopefully let them know if I am about to pass them or let them pass me.

I cant race and chat I concentrating too much (except the odd swear word) but yeah in the lobby I might have a chat.
I dont see what was soooo much better about Dirt on the PS3 it may have run a bit smoother but then it did have less trees, bushes, and lighting effects.
On my 50" 1080p TV the PS3 version of GRID had more jaggies than the 360 version not that it made my eyes bleed or made the game unplayable in any way its just something I noticed.
EDIT: oh and the PS3 version took maybe 10 seconds longer to load between races

When I look for friends on PSN, im not looking for people to chat with about girls and wat not, Im looking for people who are competent at a game and are fun to play with, and the only time this is ever a factor for me is in games with a team aspect of sum sort.
Never touched the online component for GRID, doubt you will make any e-friends while racing... its like trying to be friendly with other ppl in FFA, communication is useless when it comes to "every man for himself " modes/games.
I have the ps3 version of GRID but u probably be better off with the 360 version, just for the acheivements.

I do like quiet sometimes, but in a game like fifa in 10 vs 10 it's good to talk, and cheer when you score.
