GS 2008 awards - PS3 beats them all

For me at least all the results were totally unexpected except for one patapon award.

Anyhow it is surprising to see how PS3 games have won a lot of awards and Xbox360 won nothing comparatively.

Most shocking award for me was "Best technical graphics" as Crysis-warhead is clearly much more technically superior in graphics to MGS4.

What are your suggestions?

People kept saying: year of the PS3. Guess it was. Any how I will be opening Gears 2 for christmas. Hopefully I get to see what all the fuss was about with gears 1. Any suggestions or special glitchs for the online game that is interesting?

I'm usually not one to play scores, but...

360 has more than enough AA games to fill the page..

While the PS3 didn't receive enough to fill the entire page.

It's up to each individual to decide which console is more appealing, but to say the PS3 had SUCH a better year than the 360 is absolutely comical. Especially when more 360 games had higher ratings on this site.

GS awards are total BS. Anyone with half a brain would realize that Crysis Warhead is technically the better looking game when compared to MGS4. karasill

X Play's and Gamespy's were much worse.

I'm usually not one to play scores, but...

360 has more than enough AA games to fill the page..

While the PS3 didn't receive enough to fill the entire page.

It's up to each individual to decide which console is more appealing, but to say the PS3 had SUCH a better year than the 360 is absolutely comical. Especially when more 360 games had higher ratings on this site.

That's mainly because XLBA killed it this year, it had a lot of AA/AAA games. Where as it seemed like every DL game for the PS3 recieved an A score. (Still don't see how Wipeout HD scored a 7.5, meh)

It works both ways, The cows in 07 were calling Gamespo Bias and hates the PS3, now the cows love Gamespot.

How many games a year do you buy?

If we all went by the logic that only AAA's are worth our cash, most of us would sit around bored for most of the year.

And how many games I purchase makes no difference seeing as I don't own a 360 or a PS3.

The fact is the 360 has more highly rated games this year.

I don't care which console is better, or which one has more games, or which one is the shiniest...

But I don't understand how some people can say the 360 has had a terrible year.
