Around 38 hours left before the reveal and people are already bashing it. Do you guys think it will be something new or the same old COD game every year with dogs and fishes that move.

It's CoD. It'll be a decent game, that everybody bashes for the sake of it. Some are relevant, most are just my bitches.

The yearly releases ARE justified to millions of fans who buy the games every year, to many people CoD is the place to meet friends online, chat and just have a blast but the idiots that feel the yearly releases arent justified make it sound as if CoD is the only game out there and they have no other choice but to buy it! no if you hate the franchise or feel tired then f**king dont buy it! its simple no degree needed to understand!

I bet its the same as the last 3 to 4 games. No wonder people are starting to get bored of it. They release the same game 2 to 3 times a year for the last 5 years or more. 

LOL you wish, I stopped at the first Black Ops, was pretty good at the game, was in the 9th prestige, but then i saw the light.

I've supported COD for a long time but the franchise really is getting stale at this point. Ghosts looks like what will probably be one of the last entries that sells anywhere near the highest selling entry of the franchise, Black Ops. Within a year or two Battlefield will probably be matching if not beating COD in sales.

Huh. Honestly didn't even notice that, just read the OP and then replied. 

It was bound to happen it would eventually loose on popularity, tbh.

The next "big trend" in gaming seem to be games with massive open worlds and "sandboxy" gameplay and the "serious" military shooter fan's are looking at other alternatives like BF, Arma, Red Orchestra, ect.

I actually think Arma could do pretty well on the next-gen consoles if they made a good port.

the only problem is that I've been on this ride many times, so i know after a week or 2 i will be bored once again. For that reason, im buying it used/on sale.II_Seraphim_II

I can't play it too long without getting tired of it quickly.

I mainly play cod once a week with some friends. The game is ok but imo there are far better fps out there.

I'm finding it hard to understand how a lot of these criticisms CoD gets don't apply to BF.

I mean, BF4 looks like a reskin of BF3. Both series have pretty cheeseball, overpriced DLC. Both lack substance in the SP department. What's the deal?

I've defended COD for years, but franchise fatigue has FINALLY set in with me. Never finished Blops 2, never played the MP much. BF3 is just a far superior multiplayer shooter. I hope they do something different but good with multiplayer, it really seems like COD multiplayer for the most part is always the same crap on a new map. I'm not really a big multiplayer fan though, I've always liked to play more of a strategic game instead of run n' gun, I think it's much more fun and engaging if you play the same way you would handle a gun fight in real life, instead of who can empty a clip into someone the fastest.

With it being released so close to so many great games, I think the sales will be lower then normal. I'm sure sales will be good enough though with all the COD addicts out there. If they don't evolve the game into something better soon though, I think COD will burn itself out within the next few years.

Basic multiplayer will most likely be the same.  That's what sells the game millions.  They could add different modes or something but I don't expect anything huge or revolutionary.

They really do need to step away from that modified Quake engine.  They've made enough money to do something bigger and better.  I guess they are worried about alienating their fanbase if they do that, though.

Thats a stupid reason you know that right?? how is it the fans fault exactly? the fans buy the games because the games are fun, you know having fun is the reason we all play video games to begin with you know that right? so you are telling me the fans should just suck it up and not buy CoD games, completely forget about playing with friends and having fun because some people cant handle that other developers are copying CoD?? :lol: you know how stupid that sounds?

Cod fans have nothing to do with anything and the only one to blame that other developers are copying CoD are the developers themselvs! as a fan i couldnt care less about developers copying CoD but i will keep buying it because thats what my friends buy and where we all spend our weekend playing, not everyone enjoy BF, Killzone, Halo or counter strike.
