Isnt GT 5 Prolouge a bit pricey for a demo. I heard that it was going to be like 30 or 40 bucks or something liek that. In other words NOT a free demo. Is there enough in that demo to warrent such a price. Is it worth my Purchasing dollar?
If you have the money and like Gran Turismo and don't want to wait for the full version, buy it. If you're broke and don't care for Gran Turismo games, don't buy it.

Excatly. People who buy them demo are going to end up dropping $100 on GT5 and the first $40 they spend on the demo will be completely worthless once the full game comes out.

At least if you are going to charge make it like 5 dollars. Xbox live Silver gets you all the demos for free, just not online play. I really cant believe they would charge $40, unbelievable. Value is something determined on an individual basis but can be reckoned in a broader sense with logical arguments still is it up to your wallet and tastes. This is a strange product in video game terms. It's like asking if you should buy MGS4 when it first comes out when you know from past experience that a year later will bring a superior version at a lower price. You know GT5 will follow as a full game for 20 bucks more so I would think it would be worth the wait.
Must have quite a bit of content in it if they are selling it for 40 bucks, but i agree this is one that should be free seeing as its not even finished. They game HD concept for free why not prologue. Just for this i may not buy GT5....
It actually has a lot of content. it has event races and you earn mony to upgrade and buy new cars. There are 40 cars and 10 tracks. (5 tracks with 2 versions of it.) It also has 16 player online mode and you can use the cars you have in your garage online. Its pretty neat for only $40. I am gonna get it myself.
I hate how people call it a demo, it's more like a tach demo because it has enough content, just not as much as the average game. But $40, not worth it, just wait until the full game, unleess your a diehard GT fan then It might be worth it.

I think what sucks about this is thatif you buy GT 5: Prologue and the actual full version of GT 5, then you end up spending $100 on basically the same game.
It'd be nice if they threw in a 50% discount coupon towards the full game, or something. I mean, I understand paying to play early, but that still seems like a lot of money. Maybe I just don't get it because I'm not a big fan of racing games

I've got a solution for that. The next time you are walking around outside look down. A 13 month card is $50 that works out to 14 cents a day.
You can pick that up in the street everyday if you are determined enough to do so, don't cry about something if you are not willing to put forth the effort to solve the problem.
