8.6 woot Hopefully GS blesses PS3 with at least 3 more AAA. Pacific Rift, Resistance 2, and Valkyria ChroniclesSnakePS360Gamer
Resistance 2- Unless something goes horribly wrong, this will be AAA.
V C - Either 8.5 or 9.0.
Motorstorm: PR - Probably AA.

I doubt that. AA IMO. Still great considering MS1 was A.

Neither Pacific Rift or Valkyria Chronicles will get AAA. I'm thinking A for VC because thats the same score Disgaea 3 got and they are in the same genre.
As for this score: I'm surprised, GT used to give off a lemming vibe but they've come around recently. Like putting the PS3 cover of PURE up instead of the 360 one.
This game is gorgeous to look at. I wasn't a big fan of the demo, but the demo track is obviously the least impressive. Nice music selection in there, too. I hated the songs in the original. Wolfmother makes me cringe. It's nice to hear some In Flames.
I agree. Resistance has to be totally broken and buggy for it not to receive AAA. But you never know :?...
When it comes to having fun, MS is the best offroad racer IMO.
If it wasn't for your pro 360 attitude at times, you'll seem like a very cool person on these forums, but me and you almost always be on opposite sides of the line because of your pro 360 attitude and my ps3 defensive attitude LOL!!!!!!!!!This game is gorgeous to look at. Awesome score. Looks like a solid Christmas pickup.
I always felt Gametrailers is the best review source.
I love the environments in both games, it's the driving I can't stand. I really don't like how the vehilcles handle. If they would have tightened that up, I might have been on board for this one.heretrix
That's what I hated. It seemed better in the first one for some reason. It seems like it's so hard to get some vehicles to turn properly in Pacific Rift.

Not-A-Stalker
i totally agree with you atleaset better than cough"gamespot"cough
Great score, but this game has no chance of AAA here.
I can see it, we can all see it, this game is pretty much the same thing as the first, with hardly any new gameplay mechanics. It's like getting a jungle upgrade downloadable content on PSN.
8.5 max here, possibly 8.0, most definitely 7.5. I can't believe some of you guys actually think this has a chance at AAA.
Resistance 2 will get it... I'll be a little mad if it doesn't. I think GS has always gimped review scores for Insomniac games, dating back to the PS2 R&Cs. Practically all of them were 'almost AAA.' I haven't heard any downtalk on R2 besides the fanboys. I think it's guarantied AAA.
Valkyria Chronicles has a good chance at AAA. There's not a lot of other good JRPGs to compete with this gen, and this one is actually doing something new, and different from the basic JRPG formula. Prob. 8.5 though.

They handle fine , it is the environment and physics you have to think about when racing ..... that is totally understandable for a treacherous offroad racer of this type.[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"][QUOTE="heretrix"]I love the environments in both games, it's the driving I can't stand. The problem is that the cars act like they are sliding on ice, not mud. And the handling is wretched imo.[QUOTE="Nike_Air"][QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"][QUOTE="heretrix"]I love the environments in both games, it's the driving I can't stand. The problem is that the cars act like they are sliding on ice, not mud. And the handling is wretched. When driving fast into a turn on a bumpyand very dirty/muddy track ..... you will slide , the more reckless you drive ... the more you'll slide. The handling is fine , you just can't wrap your head around the environment , vehicles , and physics. Adapt to the conditions , or an epic fail is imminent. That has more to do with you than the game itself. If you just want to zip around tracks and turns at full speed without thinking , play something more cookie-cutter.[QUOTE="heretrix"][QUOTE="Nike_Air"][QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"][QUOTE="heretrix"]I love the environments in both games, it's the driving I can't stand. I played the original just fine, and won many matches online, too. The handling in the Pacific Rift demo just felt awkward and not very good at all.BioShockOwnzthat is because they changed the handling on the trucks to make it seem differant from the buggy's that all. the trucks though the e-brake is easier to use than the buggy's.

I seen the comparison from the qore demo to the actual game and WOW. How bout you rent the final game and then see?? I know im buying it.
