Come on guys, its 220MB and designed only for its physics engine. If youre going to make thread about 'teh bad graphics' at least
1) play it and see how its physics are
or
2) wait for a GT5 demo to come out before condemning it to hell.
that is all

it is not a 'demo'. its built so they can find the best GT player, put him in a real car and find out how he does. they did it last year and it worked out really well.why would they put out a demo that makes their game look bad. makes no sense at all to me.

Because their lazy and couldn't be bothered putting together a proper demo? Otherwise I have no idea what so ever.why would they put out a demo that makes their game look bad. makes no sense at all to me.

"With that said, someone with access to the demo also received an email from Sony that wanted to emphasize this is not a demo of Gran Turismo 5, and is only being released for GT Academy. Polyphony Digital has also posted a new press release, clearly stating the demo was "specifically designed for this competition to showcase the realism of the brand-new physics engine" and nothing more. "

The demo was specifically designed for this competition to showcase the realism of the brand-new physics engine and to challenge players' driving skills using professional driving physics and many of the driving assists disabled. The full Gran Turismo 5 will feature multiple driving assists and various settings that can be changed to make the game easier or more challenging and realistic."

Showcase the physics aspect of the product would be my bet. They are a huge part of GT games more so than graphics to a simulation game fan. Also its for a competition so im really not complaining least we will get to see how it plays and not how it looks.
Is there any form of damage in this demo/competition thingy?
whats GT5 academy?

its a competition where you get a chance to race in an actual car if your up there in the top times :P its pretty neat imo.
