GT5 Delayed Yet Again: Release Date in Japan TBA

It looks like it's been delayed again, hopefully it makes it in Fall 2010 at the latest. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it got delayed into 2011, but if there's a god it won't be... I apologize if this has already been posted :P.

That's pretty embarrassing, and frankly inexcusable. This better be the greatest racing game to ever grace a console.

If they continue on this path it'll meet the same fate of Duke Nukem Forever. A constant strive for perfection leads to failure, they're overdeveloping.

Unlike Duke Nukem, I doubt Sony would pull the plug on it. I can definitely see GT5 getting released down the road. I think Sony has too much faith in this project to just give up on it like the parent company that was financing Duke Nukem did.

but it's kinda ridiculous when Poly said GT5 will release "soon" after GTPSP…That looks like it's going to be a year latter …

This is just plain pathetic now, I'm betting it'll end up like the PSP GT, years of waiting for only a good but largly disappointing game. Lucky the PS3 doesn't need GT5 for 2010 to be a good for it.

That is rather unfortunate. Though hopefully this means it will get a worldwide release in the summer. Then again maybe not

I was hyped for this game at the start but after waiting so long am not really fussed about it now. Its still looking good but not as good as promised and there is still the question of if they will keep the bumper car physics or keep thestupid time delays for bumping into the car in front.

I am looking forward to Moto GP 09/10 more than i am GP5 now.

OKay so GT5 confirmed for Fall of 2010 then? unless there are more delays, can't imagine how there could be though, but hey, I expected it to be out already so...... /shrug

If its not coming in the spring....then it has to be fall.... no way they will release such a big title mid-summer.

The only reason I think that can make this delay justifiable is that (alll of a sudden)SCE were looking for a worldwide release for this game. But man, PD sure is taking their sweet time developing GT5....

This is such a big joke now. I am still confident this game doesn't come out in 2010 and now people who say this game has never been delayed....well, it's pretty obvious at this point
