GT5 -Where ultra-realistic car models meets bland scenery, weak computer AI and dull gameplay.
Now before going further, yes I own a PS3, yes I own a 360 and no, I don't care which one is better. I do care though that the 'premium' driving game on the PS3, the one that all of the big bucks is being spent on, looks like yet another rehash of what was essentially a dying series.
Yes it will sell well, yes transformers also sold well. I don't care how many copies of GT are sold I only care about how the damn thing plays and sales are clearly no indication of that.
Everyone will say 'give it time' and 'it's not finished' but with GT Prologue around the corner (basically exactly what we will get in the full GT game but less content) the problems i've seen will remain. It will be great to watch TV shows from the menu, amazing to look at the almost photo-realistic garages they seem to have spent so much time on and awesome to marvel at the overall presentation.....but where is the improved AI? I thought this was re-written from the ground up because of the extra cars? Then why, in every video, do they all stick to exactly the same line like glue?
Where is the new and exciting stuff? GT4 already felt like more of a job than a game and GT5 looks to follow right in its footsteps. With a slew of great racers already available on the other consoles & PC why are we getting hyped about GT5?
Lets just pray you don't handle like GT-HD or it's R.I.P.
