Why are they releasing a prologue to GT5? Didn't the full game fit on a Blu-Ray disk? :lol:

Good news for Sony and Polyphony. Be interesting if we could see how many people download it from the PlayStation Store aswell.

Prologues always sell mildly good. This one is even cheaper than a regular game, and carries almost as much content as a NFS game.

For the real game, we may be waiting for another year, Polyphony never gets their games out quickly. GT4 was delayed over and over again, and all we fans had to play was the Prologue.

1. In Europe Gran Turismo is half the price of a full game, not $40

I'll never understand how anyone can think a game that has online multiplayer(infinite replay value almost) is a ripoff.

1. This is not the first prologue GT game, they know damn well what they're buying

2. It may be a demo of GT5 but for what it is, it has more then enough content

3. GT5 prologue at a $40 price range is no diff then when ppl were paying full price for half-assed ports when the consoles first launched.s

4. Getting nervous are we fanboys? You thought sony was done months ago and did nothing but bash the ps3 and now look whats happening. The big name games are starting to see the light of day and it's only going to get better and better.

Exactly, your not even forced to buy it.

Good for the hardcore racing fans and good for the people who don't want a big racing exprience as GT5.
