GT5 Prologue-Proof of the PS3's graphical capabilities.

There is hardcore proof that the PS3 has better graphics than the Xbox 360.

The 360 has been out over 2 years now, and the PS3 just one. After two years, the 360 got PGR4, with some pretty decent graphics. GT5 prologue's graphics are nearly five times better, and the PS3 has been out half the time. Explain that lems?

Also, does GT5:P come out ONLY in Japan tomorrow, or here in the US too as a BD-rom or a download?

No. The 360 has had 2 years and PGR4 isn't nearly as good as GT5 P graphically. Does GTP come out in the US tomorrow, or jsut in Japan?

It's a racing sim, made by one of the best devs in the world at making realistic looking games, so of course it will look good. Just look at how great GT4 looked on the ps2. No other games on the ps2matched that

we may still see even better graphics in GT6 though (you know it will happen by the end of the gen)

The graphics are certainly impressive, but you would be foolish to say that such visuals could not be done on 360, especially when we are only 2 years into this generation.

thankyou u really made me laugh gt5 sure it could be done on the 360 just lose the quality graphics strip it down n then try 2 run it on 720p then maybe just maybe the xbox 360 could handle it but that might push the 360 a bit 2 much

Well, if they had soooo long to work on Forza and PGR4, how come the graphics lack compared to GT5 Prologue? I mean even the GTHD demo looks soooooo much better than PGR4, and that came out before two months was up on the PS3.

Won't come out until February 18 in U.S., but I'm getting the Japanese version since it's not region locked.

I agree, that probably what i really dislike in GT games, the environments are always very weak.

I agree, that probably what i really dislike in GT games, the environments are always very weak.

If you think PGR4's environments even touch GT5s, look again. More detail, and more color shading. Walk up to your TV and get close and the definition will be extremely clear that GT5 looks much better.Vorserider2

Forza 2 runs at 60 fps, and it's physics calculations run at 360 fps, so u feel every little detail.
