GT5 to have car damage!!

We just had a chance to sit down with Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi to not only watch the Polyphony Digital president play some expert-level Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, but catch up on how the teaser version of Gran Turismo 5 will play. The early taste of the first proper PLAYSTATION 3 release will feature a number of firsts, including online play, damage effects for cars, and fully modeled interiors.

....................ok.......well....its the same as hyping a game AAA and then ending up with an A~no one know it was gonna flop.....but the ppl who hyped got pwnd....same goes 4 WHOEVER SAID this game this game will not have car damage and danced around like a bunch of lunatics praising forza 2 for having "oh so" cool car damage...

"false analogy"??? I wasn't aware that Analogies could be True.

The official word was that there was "NO DMG" therefore there is no pwnage to be had.

However I wonder where all the cows are that claimed damage was stupid and great lines like "I don't play racing games to run into other cars so why would I care about damage in my game" durrr..... which is the absolute dumbest statement I've ever heard on SW, well maybe not.... but it's in the top 5 for sure.

I had a feeling damage would be implemented in the game but Lemmings were quick to respond with, "buh-buh what about online in GT4!" True, we did say it would be better if it had damage and now it has, that's great. But really, a car game need customised paint jobsin order to be a true sim :P

To be honest, Polyphony hadn't released this info, so up until now it wasn't really a contender. Now it is. Cows didn't know it did, so us lemmings have not been owned in any shape or form because no cow has claimed that it would have it.
