No in game voice chat and no friends invite for private online racing. I DO NOT CARE go ahead and say it's a demo. It's a $40 game demo. Sony this is 2008 not 1998. And if Sony had a decent integrated online service things like this would not be happening. there is NO CHNACE things like this happen on the 360 and not for years has these things happened on 360 with any racing game.

Sony claims it will be patched in later ROFLLLSSSSS:o This is Sony's claim to everything we will patch it. Heck this so called Home service has been delayed for over a year past it's do date. Now we are hearing Sony may even be ready to launch a new system in 2009 to go againts a possible new Xbox system. Geezzz these thing are just not acceptable in 2008 especially after PS3 has been on the market for a 1 1/2.

I agree partially since online is a big thing. They should have it for launch, if its not than flippin delay the game untill you have it.

Also dont make false claims like home is over a year past its due date, it was due oct-nov 07. So its 4-5 months late, not a year.

This just goes to show how a hyped online game lacking in any features that is released on the PS3 (or 360 for that matter) will get slammed, and will be called unacceptable, while Nintendo can hype its *cough* online then ship a game with no voice chat, no leaderboards, no machmacking, no online rankings, no credable way to invite friends, and about a 50/50 chance of actually being able to connect, but said game can still be hailed as great.

Sony and Microsoft are held to the highest standards for everything online, while it seems Nintendo gets all kinds of credit for even trying.

Whatever.

I'll take anything off XBL or PSN over Nintendo's trailer-park quality service anyday.

Yeah seriously they need to include stuff like this to begin with. If an online game isn't full featured and functional on day 1 it is not going to succeed and become very popular. I'd still be playing Warhawk if the stats were working, better chat features, and quickly released new expansions. If it comes later in a patch people either ignored the game or moved on and it won't be held in high regard to gain popularity.Lazy_Boy88
