I think it looks slick! But that's the least impressive of its features. It's the fastest freaking land vehicle in the world! (if it were allowed to be manufactured :P). Driving from the cockpit will be a thrill.

Lol, yeah, that's a replay. It looks good as heck though. I don't think a car like this is allowed to me made anywhere. I know for a fact it's not allowed in any professional racing leagues. This is a car lover fantasy it seems.

Why is PD making unrealistic fake make believe cars? Why not allow GT fans to race space ships in the game that can go 1000 MPh.

conceptual one offs are made :P dodge copperhead comes to mind even tho it was to be the cheaper brother to the viper.Look at a lot of the big motorshows you find one of zomg wat cars :P

Seriously They should just release the game already. Why did they waste their time making go-karts for the game. GO KARTS?! No wonder this game got delayed so many time. PD is just wasting time.

There's a bit of a difference between Red Bull and Red Bull Racing. The main one being that one of them is an F1 team.

secondly, the specs were calculated, just like what the above poster said.

you don't see it in F1 races because of restrictions and rules, and due to the safety of the driver.

the racing tracks worldwide are not apt for the speeds that the X1 reaches. to accommodate higher speeds, the tracks should be redesigned. it's okay for GT5 since no one will get hurt by driving this car.

also, 5,000 kmh? epic fail again. GT5 is going for realism. you do know that the X1 produces the maximum G-force a human can take while driving? again, all calculated. this isn't some bullcrap just spouted by a forum poster. let me see you drive this thing in real life.

It's design looks like a mix of a F 1 car and a Le Mans prototype , it is very fast ( in his first tries Sebastian Vettel managed to achieve in Suzuka a lap time 20 secs faster than the lap record ) , and it has some amazing features we rarely see in other racing cars ( like the fan mechanism at the back which forces the air out from underneath the car, to reduce air pressure under the car s floor , so the car can create a massive amount of downforce, and is able to maintain high cornering speeds even in low speed corners ) .

Also for the ones that say that this is made by a simple maker of energy drinks : Actually Adrian Newey , the main designer of the car is considered one of the best car designers in F 1 . Before he entered Red bull Racing , he had designed some of the best cars , like the ones who won the driver's championship titles for Williams at 1992 and 1993 ( with Nigel Mansell, and Alain Prost as drivers ) , and Mclaren at 1998 and 1999 ( with Mika Häkkinen as driver ). Also the recent years ( when he entered Red bull Racing )he has managed to make some of the most competive cars on the grid.
