GTA 4 has tough competition next year it might be SR2>GTA4 or APB>both

GTA 4 could posiibly be outshined by Saints Row. However the real wildcard is A.P.B. (All Points Bulletin). This game is from the creator of the Grand theft Auto series and is respoonsible for the surprise hit in Crackdown.

This game is quite ambitios. For one it is a MMO for the 360/PC. It allows people to take the rolls of being the cops or the bad guys. Also the concept art in the game is amazing. If the game translate into those type of characteres with unlimited amounts of custimization you are talking about one amazing game. You will be able to have multiple factions in terms of gangs or mobs. I think it also applies for the law enforcement. Also it will be in multiple cities.

GTA will likely outshine those two games simply because of the time and effort going into making the game. The new saint's row will be the second next gen saints row game (that one released in 2006), while there hasn't been a true, completely original GTA game since San Andreas (2004).

As for APB, I heard of it but forgot about it until you just mentioned it. It is ambitious so it will likely have mixed results. Even if it is the better game overall (which is doubtful), I doubt it will get nearly the amount of attention.

People need to understand this.

The writing in Saint's Row is nowhere near as good as it has been in GTA. It might give it a run graphically. But GTA will be the better product overall. GTA is a good mix of crime drama and black comedy. SR tried but came up dry. Especially with the radio stations. GTA's radio stations are hilarious.heretrix
