First off..... I read some of the comments left on Totalvideogames.com. What a bunch of frigging noobs they got posting over there.
And that second thing you were expecting...... I don't see a problem. Design the game with a hard drive in mind and the people who don't have one can go suck an egg.
That's my solution to what I think it a made up problem. That article seems poorly written, with no proof, or even any specific detials about what the problem really is. What "Uk Publication" did they get this news from? The local penny saver at the gas'n'go?.... or petrol'n'go as they say across the pond. :P
If it's such a big problem, all they'd have to do is say that a HDD is required for play. Remember back on the N64 when the memory expansion pack was required for some games (e.g. Zelda: MM)
